The current version of 3DeVOK Studio scanning software has a cap of 100,000 frames for scan data. This limit is typically reached in about 30 minutes when scanning an object. When confronted with the software’s prompt about reaching the data limit, you may encounter a situation where the data is not fully captured.
Here’s the solution:
1. Save the ongoing scanning data as a scanning project file to prevent data loss;
2. Process the data into point cloud data and save it as a point cloud project file;
3. Continue scanning the unfinished part, saving it as a new point cloud project file;
4. Utilize the “Model Alignment” tool in the 3DeVOK Studio scanning software or third-party software to merge these files and create a complete 3D model.
