 Localized High-Resolution Scanning

Localized High-Resolution Scanning

In the infrared speckle fast scanning mode, there’s no need to create a new project. It supports localized high-resolution scanning using blue laser, infrared laser or speckle. A single scanning can generate multi-resolution scans without stitching, enabling direct fusion.

Texture Mapping Replacement

Texture Mapping Replacement

This feature enables fast and intelligent texture mapping replacement by combining a colored mesh project file (*.spj) with multi-angle photos captured by a mobile phone or camera. It regenerates colored 3D data with DSLR-quality textures. The plugin supports both global and local replacement, multi-texture application, and seam line editing. For efficiency and consistency, scanned project data can be imported directly into the plugin with a single click.

Intelligent Data Optimization

Intelligent Data Optimization

During the scanning process, enabling the color map will display green to indicate good point cloud quality and red for the opposite. After sufficient scanning time at optimal distance and from multiple angles, the color map display will gradually turn green, indicating that the data quality is acceptable at the current resolution.

Frame-by-Frame Undo

Frame-by-Frame Undo

When using infrared structured light or laser mode with hybrid alignment, if stitching errors occur during scanning, you can retract frame to remove wrong data. Simply undo the corresponding erroneous frame without the need for rescanning can significantly save on-site operation time and make the scanning more user-friendly.

3D Measurement

3D Measurement

The software enables various measurement functions, including distance measurement between points, angle measurement between lines, surface area measurement of triangular meshes, and model perimeter measurement (e.g., manually selecting a waist curve to automatically calculate the corresponding waist circumference). The refinement feature smoothes the boundaries of the selected mesh area, leading to more accurate 3D surface area measurements.

Software without Dongle Restriction

Software without Dongle Restriction

The scanning software no longer requires a dongle. Users can freely download and use it across multiple devices—for example, scanning and acquiring data on one computer, then processing and generating results on another. This greatly improves fieldwork efficiency. Educational institutions can also use it for teaching and training, allowing students to practice 3D scanning and data processing independently without restrictions.

Hybrid Alignment, Easier to Use

Hybrid Alignment, Easier to Use

The latest generation of tracking technology-integrating geometric features, texture features, and markers brings a brand-new fast scanning experience. In multiple scenarios, you can easily start scanning with no or only a few markers, achieving smoother stitching and simpler operation, allowing beginners to get started quickly.

Thin-Walled Object Stitching

Thin-Walled Object Stitching

When scanning small thin-walled objects, after placing the required markers on both the front and back sides, the marker scanning mode allows for automatic stitching of the front and back markers by independently placing shared markers on each of the three edges. These shared markers facilitate the automatic alignment.

 Seamless Integration

Seamless Integration

After obtaining 3D scanning data in 3DeVOK Studio Scanning software, users can directly export it to third-party software such as GOM Inspect, QUICKSURFACE, or Geomagic Design X (users need to obtain a commercial license for third-party software) for tasks like data comparison, measurement analysis, reverse design, and other post-processing. This provides a seamless one-stop workflow for data acquisition and processing.

User-friendly Experience

Intelligent Diagnosis

Intelligent Diagnosis

The intelligent diagnosis function allows users to check whether the current computer configuration (CPU, graphics card, drivers, memory, etc.), hardware connections (power supply, device connections, etc.), and license status meet the requirements. If any abnormalities occur, prompts guide users to make improvements, ensuring smooth operation of the 3D scanning software.
Seamless Switching

Seamless Switching

The software for 3D scanning supports seamless switching among project, point cloud, mesh, and texture modules. For example, if details are insufficient after generating data, you can return to the scanning project to continue scanning or reset the resolution to create a higher-resolution point cloud—without starting a new project.
Segment Model N-Point Registration

Segment Model N-Point Registration

When segmental scanning and stitching are required (e.g., very large objects or stitching the front and back of small ones), the 3D scanning software supports N-point (minimum of 3) registration and alignment of point cloud files. It enables stitching based on shared geometry or markers, while retaining complete textures for high-definition colored 3D models.
Snapshot Material Ball Display

Snapshot Material Ball Display

The snapshot material ball feature allows you to change the material display of STL mesh models. With eight styles available, models can be displayed more vividly. By adjusting ridge and valley lines, you can highlight details for a more three-dimensional effect.
Universal Data Formats

Universal Data Formats

The 3D scanning software supports exporting universal formats: point cloud (.asc), mesh (.obj, .stl, .ply), and marker data (.mk2). STL and OBJ files can be imported into 3D design software for modification and redesign, or used directly for 3D printing, CNC machining, and more.
Automatic Saving and Data Recovery

Automatic Saving and Data Recovery

During real-time scanning, the software automatically saves project files. In case of unexpected closure, data can be quickly recovered upon reopening, reducing the risk of data loss and ensuring a smoother 3D scan software PC experience.

Maintenance, Update and Support

We actively collect user feedback and continuously improve the 3D scanning software’s features and algorithms. During the product lifecycle, 1–2 major software updates will be released each year to ensure users enjoy the best possible scanning experience. In addition, an SDK will be provided for customers with secondary development capabilities, enabling them to customize the software interface, control scanning operations, and invoke specific module functions to meet their development needs.
