On September 16, 2026, the APEC Young Entrepreneurs Conference opened in Hangzhou, China. Organized by China as the 2026 APEC host economy as a flagship youth event, the conference was held under the theme "Entrepreneurship Engine, Youth-Led Change: a Prosperous Asia-Pacific for All", bringing together young entrepreneurs and innovators from across the Asia-Pacific region.

Scantech (HANGZHOU) CO., LTD. presented the SIMSCAN-S Gen2 industrial 3D scanner and the 3DeVOK MT professional 3D scanner at the conference, showing attendees how 3D scanning is applied in practice across product development, design innovation and digital applications.

Tran Duy Hung, a young entrepreneur from Vietnam, called it "Fantastic!" right after trying the 3D scanner. He said the technology can make new product development faster and more convenient, and he looks forward to bringing this innovative technology to Vietnam in the future.

Carlos Obando, Program Director of the APEC Steering Committee on Economic and Technical Cooperation (SCE), also visited the Scanology and 3DeVOK booth and tried the 3D scanning technology in person. After the trial he said that if the price is right, he would very much like to buy one.
